Dear Parents,
As Scoutmaster of BSA Troop 355G and a parent of a scout in Troop 355B, I wanted to take a moment to share with you the many benefits that scouting can offer your son or daughter. The BSA is proud to offer co-ed opportunities that can help shape and develop youth into the leaders of tomorrow.
Scouting offers a wide range of activities and experiences that can help your child build important life skills. Through camping, hiking, and other outdoor adventures, they can learn about teamwork, problem-solving, and communication. Scouting also provides opportunities for community service, which can help instill a sense of civic duty and social responsibility.
Perhaps most importantly, scouting offers a safe and welcoming space for your child to grow and explore her own interests. Scouting can help them develop confidence, independence, and a sense of self-reliance that will serve them well throughout their life.
If you have any questions about scouting, please don't hesitate to reach out. We would love to welcome your son or daughter to our community and help them discover all that scouting has to offer.
Sincerely,
Tanya Simmons
