Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 355!

At Pack 355, we’re all about fun, friendship, and adventure! Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where boys and girls in grades K–5 can:

Explore the outdoors through camping, hiking, and nature activities.

Build character by learning important values like honesty, respect, and kindness.

Develop leadership skills through team-building games, community service, and earning awards.

Make lifelong friendships through exciting events and activities with fellow Scouts and families.

Our Pack meets regularly for fun-filled activities and is supported by dedicated parent volunteers who believe in the Scouting mission. Together, we help Scouts grow in confidence, responsibility, and skills that last a lifetime.

Come join us and be part of the adventure!

How Our Pack is Organized

Cub Scout Pack 355 is organized into smaller groups called Dens, based on your Scout’s grade level. Each Den is led by dedicated Den Leaders who plan weekly activities tailored specifically for Lions (Kindergarten), Tigers (1st Grade), Wolves (2nd Grade), Bears (3rd Grade), Webelos (4th Grade), and Arrow of Light (5th Grade).

Our Pack Committee, made up of parent volunteers and leaders, supports the overall Pack by organizing monthly Pack meetings, special events, campouts, and community service projects. Parents are highly encouraged to get involved at all levels—your support keeps our Pack thriving!

Together, we create a strong, welcoming community where every Scout can grow, learn, and have fun!

Our Pack is run entirely by volunteers.  To maintain a quality, active Scouting program, each Scout family is asked to volunteer for a Pack position or serve on a committee.  The level of involvement and time commitment for the positions vary, but there are many ways you can help our Pack thrive.  Examples include:  Den Leader, Assistant Den Leader, Camping Committee, Blue & Gold Committee, Advancement Chair, Popcorn Chair, etc.

Not to worry if you are unfamiliar with these positions – we have experienced families who will help and guide you!

  • Our Pack collects annual dues of $50 per Cub Scout.  In addition, there is an annual $85 fee paid directly to the National Office of the BSA, and there is an annual $75 fee paid directly to the Baltimore Area Council.

Once you join, most of our activities are free; however, some activities such as camping and tours have a fee.  We rely on fundraisers to help fund our activities and keep our dues low.  We ask all families to participate in fundraiser to keep the program affordable.

It has always been the policy of the BSA and our Pack that no Scout will be turned away for an inability to pay the membership fees/dues.  For families experiencing financial hardship, please contact Pack leadership for more information.

  • With your dues, you will receive a Class B Pack t-shirt, neckerchief, and slide.  The Class B Pack t-shirt can be worn to meetings, camping, etc.  Included with your dues is a Rain-gutter Regatta kit and a Pinewood Derby kit for your Scout, distributed before our Pack has these events.

  • Please note that, in addition to membership dues, there are a few other expenses that families will need to cover. These include:

    Uniform (shirt, pants, and belt)

Cub Scout Handbook for your Scout’s specific rank

Event fees (e.g., outings, field trips, special activities)

Camping fees and gear (sleeping bags, tents, etc.)

If you have questions about these costs or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re here to help!
